Eco-Friendly Companies Receive Senior America's Team Green "Environmental Responsibility Award"

Croton Harmon: Senior America's Team Green issued "Environmental Responsibility Awards" to three Mid-Hudson Valley companies. Sound Earth of Fishkill, Solar Works Inc. of New Paltz and V.O. Tech LLC of Mahopac accepted the awards at their booths at the Clearwater Festival in Croton Harmon.

Howard Levin DBA Senior America's Team Green Promotions, Beacon, NY, has established this Environmental Responsibility Award. Senior America's Team Green Promotions issues this award to recognize companies that are helping Americans create a more eco-friendly world.

Sound Earth in Fishkill (www.soundearth.com) manufactures and sells all-natural, cruelty-free cleaning products for homes and institutions. "Bleach, corrosives and fungicides clean our houses, but they can damage our bodies and the environment. Sound Earth provides safe alternatives," said Levin.

"Conserving the earth starts at home," said Levin. Solar Works in New Paltz (www.solarworksinc.com) has the most extensive portfolio of solar electric and solar thermal system installations for residential, commercial, education and institutional clients, of any integrator in the northeast.

V.O. Tech in Mahopac (www.VOTechUSA.com) manufactures diesel-hybrid conversion systems that allow vehicles to run on pure vegetable oil. This process is carbon-neutral, produces no sulfur and costs less than using gasoline. "We need to clear the air and reduce our dependence on non-renewable fuels," said Levin.

"These companies are promoting the greening of America to put our nation back in balance with the earth, and Senior America's Team Green is proud to officially recognize them," said Levin. Senior America's Team Green Promotions represents environmentally friendly companies. Howard "Lev" Levin is a philosopher who believes that "America is out of balance, but we must continue to inspire other nations. Do we, as a free market society, insult our own (and other's) intelligence with out-of-balance advertising? It's my opinion that we do. It's as if common sense has taken "liberty" from our instincts. What I'm talking about it the programming of our emotional sensors. What happens is, as a society, we become oblivious of our own actions and how it affects the sensitivity of our nature and balance. I am not asking we throw out the proverbial baby with the Ivory bath soap. What I'm asking is for some economist to wake up to how capital can be transformed to better use while serving the public interest and balancing our environment.
